I am Tanveer Muhammad Al-Shams working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Asian University of Bangladesh. I have been serving at AUB from May 2011 to till now. I have completed my BBA as well as MBA Finance from the same university and pursuing Ph.D in the Department of Economics from renowned public university of Bangladesh. Over this period, I have written a number of articles which were published in prominent national and international peer reviewed journals. I have taught various courses in both under graduate and graduate level like Fundamentals of Finance, Banking and Insurance, Financial Institutions and Markets, Real Estate Finance, Capital Investment Decision, Advance Organization Behavior, Financial Analysis and Control, Securities Analysis and Portfolio Management. Moreover, I have also been working as a researcher in different projects undertaken by the Government of Bangladesh and financed by international organizations like ADB, World Bank and IMF. My research interests lie in the broad areas of Finance, International Trade, Investment & Asset Pricing, Financial Economics, Institutions & Markets, Energy and Environment Economics, Education & Economic Policy and Development Economics.
