Call for papers
Asian Review (Journal of Asian University of Bangladesh) invites original contributions on all areas of knowledge (Multidisciplinary) for the next issue (Vol. 5 Number 1, 2026). For consideration of publication, the articles, reviews must conform to the ‘Guidelines for Contributors/Authors’ as attached below:
Guidelines for Contributors/Authors
Articles, Research Papers, Systematic Reviews, Book Reviews, etc. are welcome. Papers submitted to the Journal should be in:
- English and in MS-Word and PDF format.
- The length of the article should not exceed 6000 words excluding abstract, tables, annex, foot notes, end notes and references. The paper must be in 12 point font in Times New Roman, single spaced with 0.75 inch margin on all sides.
- Manuscripts should be accompanied by an abstract (about 200 words). The abstract should follow the paper itself, concentrating on the objective, methodology, findings and conclusions.
- The manuscript must be original. Article previously published and/or under consideration for publication elsewhere is not accepted.
- In writing the paper plagiarism and AI detection are accepted not more than 10% of the total length and not more than 5% from a single source.
- The opinion/s expressed in the articles are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Executive Editor(s) or the publisher.
- Articles are accepted on the understanding that they are subject to editorial changes and revisions.
- The copyright of the paper published in the journal will be reserved by Asian University of Bangladesh.
- APA Style Manual, 7th Edition, shall have to be followed in preparation of the references used for the manuscript.
- If there are more than one author, the corresponding author will have to be mentioned by giving a * (star).
Submission of manuscript
Manuscript shall have to be submitted as E-mail attachment (name beginning with corresponding author's surname and affiliation, e.g., Hasan_aub) in MS Word and PDF format to <asianreview@aub.ac.bd>.

Invitation for Research Based Articles
“Expressions - Journal of the Department of English, Asian University of Bangladesh,” ISSN 2075-5451 welcomes research based articles in the areas of literature, ELT, linguistics and other domains related to language planning, policy, research, curriculum, multiculturalism, modes of teaching & learning, assessment, etc. for publication in the forthcoming issue of Vol.3, No.3, February, 2026. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished paper. Manuscript submission to the journal certifies that it is an original work and has not been submitted for publication or published elsewhere.
Guidelines for Manuscript Submission
The formatting of all articles selected for publication must conform to the following guidelines:
- The copyright of the paper will be reserved by the Department of English, Asian University of Bangladesh, once it is accepted for publication in the journal.
- The length of the article should be between 2500-4000 including indices, if any.
- The abstract should briefly describe the contents, procedures and results of the manuscript, not its motivation.
- Three hard copies of the article: two without name and designation of the author along with a soft copy by E-mail. The manuscripts should be submitted in MS-Word neatly typed double spaced on A4 size paper having margins 1.5 on left and 1.0 on right, font name: Times New Roman and font size: 12. Use one side of each page only.

The manuscript should have:
- a) Page 1 (cover page): Title, Name, Designation of the author, institutional affiliation, postal and email addresses with phone numbers.
- b) Page 2: Title, and Abstract.
- c) Page 3: Title, and Paper starts.
- d) In a separate sheet of paper at the end of the article: References.
- e) A biography of each author (limited to 60 words per author).
- Both “APA” and “MLA” format can be used for referencing.
