Rokeya Khatun is an Assistant Professor of English at Asian University of Bangladesh. She did her B. A. (Hons.) and M. A. in English from the University of Rajshahi. She teaches literature and language related courses and supervises thesis students. She attended many seminars, trainings and conferences. Her research fields and interests include Romantic Literature, Victorian Poetry, 19 th Century Fiction, 20 th Century Modern Poetry, American Literature and Continental Literature. She has published papers in reputed national and international journals. Currently, she is working on John Updike and Doris Lessing. She believes, her research articles will help the future researchers explore new ideas in their research areas. She also writes occasionally in different dailies and in a very popular online Indian literary magazine, Literary Yard. In free time, she loves translating different types of poetry.
