Ariful Islam is a Lecturer of the Department of Islamic Studies at the Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB). He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Dhaka in 2020 and 2021 respectively. He has got Government scholarship in Alim Examination under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board (BMEB) in 2016. And he also got scholarship in BA (Hon’s) examination under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) in 2020.
He worked in various social and dawah organizations enthusiastically such as: Dhaka University Dawah Association, Circle of Quran, Islamic Studies Association of Mohsin Hall (Setubandhan), Mohsin Hall Blood Donating Club (Badhon), Physically Challenged Development Foundation (PDF) etc.
He teaches various courses at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level like: Introduction to Al-Quran, Ulum al-Quran (Sciences of the Quran), Modern Islamic Da’wah, Man in the Quran and Sunnah, Comparative Religion, Al-Hadith I (Hadith Sharif) and II (Sahih Muslim), Comparative Legal System, Islamic Law of Inheritance, Islamic Ethics, International Institutions, Islamic World View, Islamic Spiritual Science and its Development, Tawhid and Its Implication on Human Life etc.
