Abstract
This article is a conceptual paper that describes different approaches for teaching mathematics to secondary school students that blend learning with intrinsic motivation. The study finds that students often utilize knowledge from their daily lived experiences to assist with textbook mathematics, favoring conceptual understanding over formal procedures. The research highlights that stimulating questions, problem analysis, and effective solving techniques are significant motivating tools within the framework of mathematics learning at the secondary level.
