Role of the Chancellor
The Chancellor of the Asian University of Bangladesh is the President of Bangladesh, who serves as the university's statutory head under the Private University Act. The Chancellor has powers prescribed by law and the university's statutes and presides over convocations for the awarding of academic and honorary degrees, subject to the applicable legal provisions.
