I am Monija Islam, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government and Politics at the Asian University of Bangladesh. I have been serving at AUB from 4th September 2012 to till now. I received my BSS and MSS from Jahangirnagar University's Department of Government and Politics, as well as my LLB from a prestigious university's Department of Law. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in the Department of Development Studies from the reputed public university of Bangladesh. Over this period, I have written a number of articles that have been published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. I teach various courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, like Introduction to Political Science, Comparative Politics Analysis, Political Development in Bangladesh, International Law and Human Rights, Peace and Conflict Studies, Politics of Identity: Ethnicity, Religion, and Nationalism, International Relations, International Political Economy, Public Policy Analysis, Woman in Politics, Research Methodology in Social Science, and Thesis Writing.
Moreover, I have also been worked as a researcher on different projects undertaken by the Government of Bangladesh as well as individual research project, and where I was a principal researcher. In addition, I have the experience to work with international research projects.
