The role of IQAC

• To co-ordinate university-wide academic quality assurance and improvement activities.
• To develop and apply quality benchmarks/parameters for the academic activities of the University.
• To facilitate a learner-centric environment conducive to high academic standards and quality and faculty maturation.
• To adopt the knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning.
• To oversee a professional development program, promoting a culture of high standards and quality.
• To promote a culture conducive to securing a good position in World University Rankings, working with the Registry and schools/departments.
• To oversee measures for feedback from students, parents, and other relevant stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes, working with Student Life, Registry and schools/departments.
• To prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report, the Self-Assessment Report and the Peer Review Report for presentation to the University Quality Assurance Committee and Academic Council to UGC.
• To assist institutional quality assurance strategic plan for approval from the University Quality Assurance Committee and Academic Council.
• To provide administrative and academic support to schools and departments to carry out quality assurance activities.
• To co-ordinate and facilitate external review processes.
