Welcome to the Department of Business Administration , Asian University of Bangladesh. In 1996, the School of Business founded the Department of Business Administration. It has been successful in drawing the most deserving students in the nation since its earliest beginnings.
The goal of our department is to provide students with a solid foundation in business studies as well as the information and abilities they need to seek careers in management and business. Since January 1st, 2024, I have had the honor of leading the department of business administration at Asian University of Bangladesh. Together with my other department members, I am conscious of and devoted to upholding our obligations to act in the best interests of our students as well as the University. Business plays an integral part in the economic development of nations. Businesses are responsible for creating jobs and delivering goods and services. Businesses need people managing its affair from revenue to human resources, finances, operations, and customers for it to grow and expand. It allows students to make more efficient use of the company resources so that they can develop their tasks and activities in the pursuit of the company objectives.
This also means that there is better coordination between the different scales of the company, and greater control over the work of the staff. With specializations in Human Resource Management (HRM), Finance, Accounting, and Marketing, our department offers two programs: the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).The department is strengthened by highly educated professors with Ph.D. and Masters Degrees from reputable domestic and international universities.
We are committed to ensuring that our students receive high-quality instruction as well as organizing a variety of workshops, seminars, academic competitions, poster presentations, study tours, industrial visits, etc. to help them succeed in their careers over the long term. We have pledged to create a human resource that is well- versed in effective, adaptable, and dynamic business practices.
Our co-curricular programs and courses incorporate ethical and moral principles so that our graduates are morally upright, professionally competent, and have multifaceted perspectives to deal with today challenges. Our department is the leading business center in Bangladesh due to its courses, faculty members exceptional research and teaching skills, educational background, scope of information distribution, and contribution to the present state-of-the-art business idea globally.
