Computer Science is an exciting, challenging and dynamic discipline. Computers form an integral part in every aspect of modern life introducing new computing technologies at an enormous rate. To develop new technologies, Computer Science is a dynamic and challenging field of study which changes continually and rapidly.
Our department started its academic activities in the Summer Semester, 1999. Since then, it has been widely recognized for its excellent research and teaching capabilities. The graduates from the department are heavily recruited by both academia and industry of home and abroad. We are very proud of our graduates and their accomplishments; they are highly skilled IT professionals who pursue successful careers in a wide range of contexts in the competitive global labor market.
All of our classrooms and laboratories are equipped with modern audio-visual teaching-learning facilities and necessary experimental kits for students.
We have extended the facilities to enhance our research activities in different branches of computer science and its engineering applications. Moreover, we frequently arrange workshops, seminars, academic contests for students and extracurricular activities to explore the merits of our students in a different dimension. At the same time, we get our students involved in organizing these events to improve their leadership quality. We want our students to be capable of not in one dimension, but capable of multi-dimensions when they graduate. As a result, now our department is the right place for the students with dreams of becoming outstanding IT professionals and researchers. We are looking forward to welcoming brilliant students.
