Fahmida Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the Asian University of Bangladesh (AUB), where she has been teaching since 2011. She holds an M.S.S. and B.S.S. in Sociology from the University of Dhaka. Her research focuses on gender studies, social networks, and modernity, with several publications in respected journals. Fahmida is actively involved in academic research and conferences and is a member of the Bangladesh Sociological Association and Itihas Academy Dhaka.
