Ms. Parul Parvin joined Asian University of Bangladesh as a faculty member in 2021. She is working as the Head of the Department of Information Science and Library Management. She obtained her BSS (Honors) and MSS degrees in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Rajshahi. She teaches the post graduate level courses: Information Resources Development, Research Methodology and Applied Statistics, Indexing and Abstracting, Organization of Knowledge (Classification theory) Organization of Knowledge (Classification Practical) etc. Her research areas include among others: Social Networking Sites, Online Resources, Information Networking and Online Information Retrieval System.
